In July we headed down to Alabama for our "2nd Annual Taysom Family Reunion". Asher was only 2 months old and I had to get over some serious concerns about flying him across the country when he was still so young, but everything worked out great. He did scream pretty hard on the second flight on our way to AL (the cabin pressure really was not right) even with nursing he was not consoled, but it eventually passed as we were in our descent. All in all it was only 15 min. Mostly he slept though. I was surprised how many people stopped to talk to me and coo at Asher. Everyone on the plane was friendly too and very understanding and nice when he did cry. He was a little magnet for attention.

Alabama is always a great vacation spot for us! Natasha and Michael and fun and great hosts- there is always a ton to do. It wasn't even as hot as I imagined- there were thunderstorms and cloud cover almost the entire time.
Aiden(7) was so cute with Asher! He wanted to be around him all the time and rode in the same car right next to the car seat with him. ON the way home from Roller Derby Ian somehow got in the car before Aiden and sat next to Asher much to Aiden's dismay. Jsut minutes from home Asher started to cry. When Aiden sits next to Asher he would give him his pacifier, but being far away he kept repeating,
"Ian! Give him his sucky thing!"
"Ian! Give him his sucky thing!"
which Ian had no interest in doing.
"Ian! Give him his sucky thing!"
It was so cute how attentive and doting Aiden was. He was inseparable from Asher :) What a cute guy- he loves babies!
Also, out at the Lake House I was lounging on the dock with the fam and I started to peel off my tank and shorts so I could tan in my swimsuit or jump the lake...
Halle looks at me, "What happened to your legs!"
Oh yes... stretch marks baby.... just you wait!
